It is durable, biodegradable and naturally antibacterial.

Although the bristles are made of BPA free polyester material called PBT(polybutylene terephthalate) and not biodegradable, PBT is more durable, less deformed and less water absorbent than nylon, hence has a lower probability of harboring germs and hygienic.
At the end of its life, you can compost the bamboo handle after removing the bristle.

| Use & Care Instructions
・Allow to air dry between uses. Do not encase.
・ Replace every 2-3 months or when the bristles have frayed out of shape.
・At the end of its life, bamboo handle can be composted and will return to the earth. Bristles are not compostable. They can be removed with small pliers.
